Special Educational Needs (SEN)

St Anne’s is committed to providing an appropriate and high quality education to all the children at our school. We believe that all children, including those identified as having special educational needs (SEN), have a common entitlement to a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum. This curriculum should be accessible to them, and they should be fully included in all aspects of school life.

At St Anne’s we believe quality first teaching is vital to ensure all children’s needs are met in all areas of learning. We recognise that in some cases, outside agency support and advice is needed and work alongside them to support children in their learning.  At every stage we feel it is important to work alongside parents in supporting children’s learning.

Our SENCO is Mrs S Smith and her assistant is Mrs Y Rose. You can contact our SEN team via the school office, by phone (01737 350012, option 3) or by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
